Sam Hunt took the stage at the 2020 CMT Awards in Nashville, TN to perform an energetic rendition of his No. 1 song, “Hard To Forget.” The show is featuring performances from different locations around Middle Tennessee, and Hunt performed at The Estate At Cherokee Dock in Wilson County, TN.

During the performance, Hunt stood at the front of the stage while his full band stood feet behind him. “Hard To Forget” of course begins with a recording of Webb Pierce’s “There Stands The Glass,” and after that played, the band dove right into the song. Dressed in a simple yellow t-shirt and black jeans, Hunt sang the song with just his guitar in hand as his band backed him up. While he sang, yellow, red, blue and purple lights shone all around him, coordinating with the music.

Hunt is nominated for Male Video of the Year for his video for “Hard To Forget.” He is nominated alongside Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Thomas Rhett. Other performers at the show include Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerina and Halsey, and many more.

The 2020 CMT Music Awards air Wednesday, October 21st at 8:00PM ET/7:00PM CT on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop and TV Land.
