Scotty McCreery Announces Second Single

Earlier this evening Scotty McCreery took to his Twitter to announce the news that he’s releasing his second single to country radio.

“My new single ‘The Trouble With Girls’ is gonna be hitting radio tomorrow,” McCreery tweeted. “Listen for it, request it, and lemme know what you think!”

The song was reportedly penned by Chris Tompkins (“Before He Cheats”) and Philip White (“I’m Movin’ On). According to Taste of Country, “The Trouble With Girls” is another ballad “that has a sneaky twist at the end.”

McCreery’s debut single, “I Love You This Big” climbed to the Top 15 at country radio and was recently certified Gold for sales exceeding 500,000 by the RIAA. His debut album, Clear As Day, will be released October 4.
