Scotty McCreery fans, get excited! The North Carolina native has new music is on the way!
The singer recently shared the news with fans via Facebook, posting a photo from the studio with the caption “New songs. New album. Coming soon.”
When McCreery recently spoke with CMT’s Cody Alan, the on-air personality made a point to ask him about his new music.
Explaining that he’s got “a handful” of songs already, Scotty said his main focus is finding the right one to send to radio. “We’re trying to cut potential first singles,” he told Alan backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, “so we’re going to cut those and then we’ll worry about the [rest of the] album songs later on.”
While no date has been announced for McCreery’s forthcoming third studio album, he did add that he will give “sneak previews” during his run on the road this summer with Rascal Flatts.
