Scotty McCreery Robbed At Gunpoint
Scotty McCreery had quite the scare early Monday morning.
McCreery and his friends were robbed at gunpoint at an off-campus apartment near Raleigh’s North Carolina State University. Three armed suspects entered the apartment, and according to The Associated Press, the singer and the other victims were ordered to turn over cash, wallets and electronics.
Raleigh police released the 911 call from someone at the residence who said, “They took everything we have. They were like ‘Get down. Get on the floor and give us everything you got.'”
Neighbors say they thought it was only college kids partying, until they heard screaming. “All you heard was yelling like ‘Who are you? What are you doing here? ‘ for a good five minutes. It was just yelling,” one neighbor recalled.
The “See You Tonight” singer and his friends were ordered to remain down on the floor and count to 100 before moving. No one was injured during the break-in.
McCreery released a statement on his Facebook about the scary ordeal.
