After five long years, Scotty McCreery fans can rejoice in knowing that new music is on the way from the singer. Set for release on March 16 via Triple Tigers Records, the North Carolina native will debut an 11-song album, Seasons Change. The album encapsulates McCreery’s growth, both personally and professionally, since the release of 2013’s See You Tonight.

“In the last five years, I have grown from a teenager to a man, moved out on my own, lost my grandfather, proposed to the love of my life, and learned more about myself than I could have imagined,” shared McCreery in a press release. “This all shows up in the 11 songs on Seasons Change, and I cannot wait to share this music with my fans after such a long time between releases.”

“For the first time, I wrote all the songs on my album,” McCreery continued. “It’s kind of my journal of the last few years: the ups and the downs. Whenever I think things are not going well, I’ve learned to just wait it out because the seasons change. If you want to know who I am and where I’m at right now, listen to this album. I feel like I’m having a conversation with everyone that listens. It’s that personal.”

Fans will get an inside look at the ups and downs of McCreery’s life, with songs that reflect on life, his recent engagement and much more. The project will also feature his hit “Five More Minutes,” which became the first song to chart in the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Top 50 without a record label.

Seasons Change will be available for pre-order beginning January 12, 2018, while special merchandise bundles will debut on scottymccreery.com beginning Wednesday, Dec. 20.
