Second Annual American Country Countdown Awards Announced

The date for the second annual American Country Countdown Awards has been revealed.

FOX, Cumulus Media and dick clark productions announced today that the show, which brings country music’s longest-running radio countdown show to TV, will return on Sunday, May 1 at 8pm ET. According to a press release, the two-hour live event “will honor the year’s best country music with thrilling performances, special moments and surprises and awards.”

The inaugural American Country Countdown Awards was hosted by Florida Georgia Line and featured performances by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and more.

This year’s show host and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
