We all know Miranda Lambert totally ROCKS, so it’s no surprise that she made the cut. Along with Miranda, fellow country music stars Julianne Hough and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles join her on the list as well.
Seventeen featured a small Q&A with each artist.
The ladies shared their pre-performance rituals…
Miranda: I always lead a prayer with all my band guys, holding hands in a circle, just before we start playing. I also watch a lot of DVDs before the show starts … Beyoncé, Sheryl Crow, or The Band’s Last Waltz to get pumped up for the show.
Jennifer: I warm up vocally for 30 minutes before each show. That’s the biggest part of my ritual. We also always get together and have a prayer circle before we go onstage to say “Thanks for the best job in the world and let’s rock their faces off.
Julianne: I warm my voice up. And I love hot tamales and tea. I also love to wear rings on my right hand.
