Shania Twain, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban Make Television Appearances
Country music took over television yesterday (10/23). Shania Twain made a rare appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” while Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley faced off on late night TV shows.
Twain chatted with Ellen about her show in Vegas and how she made herself comfortable enough to perform. The pair then played a Vegas edition of the talk show host’s hit new game “Heads Up.”
Urban appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” where he talked with the host about “American Idol,” his worst birthday, and more. He then performed “Good Things,” a song from his latest album Fuse.
Bentley made his way to “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” to take part in Fallon’s “Pearl Jam Week.” Bentley performed the band’s hit song, “Alive,” with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and Jimmy Fallon’s The Roots. “I love that Fallon dedicates a week of his show to iconic bands like Pearl Jam and I will definitely be there representing as one of their biggest fans myself,” Bentley said prior to his appearance. “Mike and I have had a chance to collaborate before, but this will be the first time we’ve played a Pearl Jam song together for TV… really looking forward to it!”
