Shania Twain may be a country legend, but the real stars of her ACM Presents: Our Country set were the animals she had by her side.

Twain set up shop in her barn to deliver acoustic performances of two of her biggest hits, but she didn’t do it alone. Her horse and dog made special appearances during the performance, making it even more special. Twain offered an acoustic medley of fan favorites “Honey I’m Home” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” The acoustic flavor gave the songs a new identity, Twain’s voice sounding smooth as she serenaded her animals and the audience watching from home.

She ended her set by blowing a kiss to the camera while host Gayle King cracked a joke about the canine, who spent the performance sleeping by the singer’s feet. “It seems like her dog was like ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much,'” King quipped, making reference to Twain’s other hit, “That Don’t Impress Me Much.”

ACM Presents: Our Country is a two-hour CBS special aiming to bring music to country fans on what would have been the night of the 2020 ACM Awards. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has led to the postponement or cancellation of many live events, ACM decided to find a way to keep the music going while adhering to social distancing guidelines. The ACM Awards have been moved to Sept. 16.
