The 2017 Stagecoach Music Festival was the place to be this weekend as Shania Twain made her triumphant return with new music. The singer’s performance also included some extra star power with the help of Nick Jonas and Kelsea Ballerini.

Twain headlined Stagecoach on Saturday night (April 29) and as promised, debuted her forthcoming single “Life’s About to Get Good.”

“This is a very exciting moment,” she told the audience, prefacing the performance of her new single. “I’ve been working on a new album for quite a while. I wrote this album… this was like a solo writing experience for me. It was therapy. I wrote this specific song about the good and bad in life and how important it is to have both. You gotta take the good with the bad, right? No pain, no gain. So I wrote a song about a lot of truth and finding the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the first single off the new album. I’m going to play it tonight for the first time. It’s really a happy song.”

She then urged fans to sing along once they catch onto the chorus. Dancing around the stage in a black ensemble, the country legend sang of how she “wasn’t just broken, I was shattered.”

Her new single wasn’t Twain’s only surprise for festival-goers. Earlier in her set she brought out Nick Jonas for her previous single “Party for Two.” The collaboration was no surprise as Jonas has long expressed his admiration for his “lifetime crush” Twain, having previously told Billboard that she is known for “breaking barriers of genre to allow other people to think outside the box and push the envelope.”

Later, Ballerini would join Twain for a spirited performance of “Any Man of Mine.” An experience Ballerini won’t soon forget, she gushed about singing with Twain on stage. “Sang with the woman I learned to sing from last night. Magic. Thank you for everything,” Ballerini captions a photo performing with Twain on Instagram.
