Shania Twain’s Shoe Auction Raises $9,000 for Charity
Country superstar Shania Twain recently auctioned off the shoes she wore when she infamously took a tumble on the way to the stage at the 2011 CMT Music Awards in June. Twain promised she’d auction them off in a video message she posted after the awards show responding to her fall.
The size six BCBG Max Azria heels, which were each autographed by Shania, sold for $9,000 on Ebay. The money raised will benefit her charity, Shania Kids Can. The program is designed to help children at primary school level who are having personal problems at home.
