Shay Mooney and Wife Hannah Welcome Baby Boy, Ames Alexander

Party of four! Shay Mooney and his wife Hannah have welcomed a second baby boy into their family, PEOPLE reports.

Born Friday (2/21), Ames Alexander entered the world weighing in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. and measuring 19.5 inches long.

“Our family is ecstatic,” the proud parents tell the publication. “Ames is absolutely perfect!”

The Mooney family first announced that they were expecting in August with a video of their oldest son Asher, 3, saying that he was going to be a big brother. The couple also revealed that baby number two would also be a boy.

“Celebrating a number 1 with baby number 2! Hannah and I have been dying to share the news. We thought for sure we’d be announcing a baby girl, but God has other plans for the Mooney’s. Found out today we’re having a BOY! Bout to be a new duo in town,” wrote the Dan + Shay singer.
