Shy Carter Sings for His Supper in Feel-Good Clip
Watch him brighten the day of a lucky Chick-fil-A worker!
Country newcomer Shy Carter brought a smile to the mask-wearing face of one very essential worker in a recent TikTok, singing for his supper in the drive-thru lane of his local Chick-fil-A.
Carter, the songwriter and beat-boxing producer behind hits for Sugarland (“Stuck Like Glue”), Keith Urban (“Never Coming Down”), Kane Brown (“Heaven”) and many more, has just begun to launch his career as an R&B and soul-inflected country artist. But even though the world is currently on lockdown, he’s not letting it keep him from spreading the good vibes.
As highlighted by NBC’s Today With Hoda & Jenna, a bandana-clad Carter rolls up to Chick-fil-A to get his usual order — waffle fries, Polynesian sauce and an iced tea — but once he reaches the attendant taking orders, he gives her a surprise. Singing his order in a friendly, high-flying falsetto, Carter thinks he’s succeeded just by watching his new fan’s eyes … but she ends up stealing the show right out from under him.
