Smithfield Debuts Anthemic New Song, ‘Our World’

Following the success of their last single “Hey Whiskey,” rising country duo Smithfield is back with a brand-new single “Our World” and the announcement of a new EP.

Dubbed We Make Our Own, the new EP will officially drop on March 1.

“Our World” has a very anthemic sound, and it centers around themes of youth and being invulnerable when going up against the world. The duo, comprised of Trey Smith and Jennifer Fielder, mixes elements of rock and classic country to create a completely new sound.

The track was written by Jaden Michaels, Jordan Minton and Ben Johnson with David Fanning serving as the producer.

“We are so excited to not only be releasing a brand-new radio single, but a brand-new EP in 2019,” said Smithfield in a press release. “We always try to create music that connects with our fans as much as it does with us. We can’t wait to share what’s new in ‘Our World’.”

Interestingly, the new single will only be included on the physical version of We Make Our Own, which will be released by Deluge records.
