Blake Shelton Takes ‘Spring Blake’ to Circle Network and Peacock
Tune in this Saturday (March 13) starting at 12 p.m. ET.
Springtime is in the air, and Blake Shelton has teamed up with the Grand Ole Opry-run Circle Network for something called “Spring Blake.”
This past Saturday (March 13) at 12 p.m. ET on Circle, the country superstar and host of NBC’s The Voice took over the whole network, with an entire day of Shelton-centric episodes and star-studded performances.
First up was special shows from Runaway June’s Natalie Stovall (one of Shelton’s Voice team members), featuring an appearance by Canaan Smith and a visit to Shelton’s Ole Red bar and restaurant in Nashville. Then Craig Morgan and Luke Combs went duck hunting in Craig’s World, and new episodes of Bellamy Brothers’ Honky Tonk Ranch and Authentic America also aired.
Meanwhile, the rest of Spring Blake was filled with performances, including a re-airing of Shelton’s Opry Live with Dustin Lynch and Trace Adkins. Other live-concert clips include the premiere of this year’s Conservation AID concert benefiting The National Wild Turkey Foundation, with Blake Shelton, Lynch, Chris Janson, Morgan, Jimmie Allen, Lindsey Ell and Chuck Wicks.
It’s all taking place as more people than ever before get access to Circle’s country lifestyle programming, as the network becomes available on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service. Circle will be Peacock’s first channel addition dedicated to country lifestyle and music programming.
Spring Blake programming will continue all through March at Shelton’s Ole Red locations. The Circle network launched in January of 2020, and now reaches nearly 150 million monthly viewers.
