Happy birthday to the Queen of Country Music! Today (April 14) marks the 90th birthday of The Coal Miner’s Daughter, Loretta Lynn, and some of country’s biggest stars have sent her messages of love.

Born on this day in 1932 in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, the trailblazing songwriter and pioneer for female artists everywhere has famously become one of country’s most beloved icons. A Country Music Hall of Fame member who is still releasing new music (her 50th studio album Still Woman Enough arrived last year), Lynn remains as fiesty as ever and continues making contributions to her community — even raising money for nearby flood victims in 2021 — and her famous friends have turned out to celebrate her.

Check out the heartwarming digital birthday card they put together:

The charming video is full of warm wishes and genuine admiration, featuring Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Maren Morris, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood and more. Each one has a moving message for a true country hero.

“I hope you feel as special as you are to all of us,” says Pearce, the reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year.

“To us, you’re always timeless and ageless, and always will be,” says McGraw, with his wife and fellow star of 1883 by his side.

“Where would the world even be without you?” Brandi Carlile asks.

“Thank you for showing girls like me how it’s done,” says Ashley McBryde.

The video ends in classic style, because what birthday is complete without “The Birthday Song”? … Most people, however, don’t have the iconic Dolly Parton to sing it.

We’re wishing Miss Loretta Lynn a happy birthday, too, and hope she enjoys many more.
