Stars Pitch In For Second Harvest

Decorated songwriter Craig Wiseman was in downtown Nashville this past Friday evening during rush hour to collect money and canned food items to help the demand for emergency food assistance in Middle Tennessee. Craig was joined by volunteers from the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Big Loud Shirt gang, as well as country artists Joey & Rory and Jeremy McComb. Overall, the gang collected $1,340 in cash and 150 lbs of food making the first ever Music Row Rally a big success.

The fundraising will continue tonight at the Ryman Auditorium for the 5th Annual Stars For Second Harvest benefit concert. Luke Bryan, Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, Heidi Newfield and others will all perform unplugged acoustic style performances at the show where all proceeds will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
