Steel Magnolia, Laura Bell Bundy, & James Otto Team Up For “Rise, Shine, & Party Time”

Big Machine Records country duo Steel Magnolia (Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones), Mercury recording artist Laura Bell Bundy and two-time Grammy nominee James Otto will host the inaugural “Rise, Shine & Party Time” acoustic concert on Thursday, June 9 at this year’s CMA Music Festival.

The round-robin style concert will being at 10am CST and be held at The Rutledge (410 4th Avenue South) located in downtown Nashville. The event will feature live music from the three hit-makers as well as autograph signings for the fans. The Rutledge will offer a $5 breakfast plate while supplies last.

“We can’t wait to spend the day with Laura Bell, James and most importantly our fans,” said Jones. “The show might start before noon but we’re going to make it a party!”

Doors will open at 9:30am CST and the first 250 people will get in FREE (all ages are welcome). The singer/songwriters will perform their combined hits, which include “Keep On Lovin’ You”, “Just Got Started Loving You” and “Giddy On Up” as well as a few new tunes. Autograph signings will follow the concert and will begin at 12pm CST.

“I am so amped to finally announce our joint fan jam,” exclaimed Otto. “It might be an early morning, but we are gonna have one awesome acoustic show–and I’ll probably have a serious caffeine buzz.”

Wrangler, Durango and Carl Black Chevrolet will sponsor the kick-off “Rise, Shine & Party Time” event and offer prizes to attendees throughout the day. Steel Magnolia, Bundy and Otto will also have some surprises for fans.

“Well, this is something I’d actually get up before noon for!” laughed Bundy. “It’s gonna be fun to be perform with my friends and get the party started for our fans. Consider us the cure for the common hangover!”

“CMA fest is all about spending time with the fans,” said Linsey. “We really want to make this special for them and truly an event they will remember and look forward to next year.”
