Steven Tyler Releases His First Country Music Video

Iconic songwriter and prolific singer Steven Tyler has released the music video for his debut Country single “Love Is Your Name.” Tyler, who was recently signed to Dot Records underneath the Big Machine Label Group umbrella (Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw), first previewed the video on ABC’s Good Morning America.

The video, directed by Trey Fanjoy, was shot just outside of Nashville’s city limits. It showcases Tyler’s seamless transition from Rock’s biggest stage to Country’s as his iconic microphone scarf also makes the move.

“This video has so many personal elements in it for me. I came from a family that was a touring band. I grew up as a young boy with my pet raccoon and my slingshot. My real band Loving Mary is featured in the video,” explained Tyler. “This song and video both resemble what the album will sound like.”

“Love Is Your Name” is currently working its way up the Country radio charts. The single was lauded Rolling Stone, USA Today and Billboard.
