Sugarland Does “Christmas In Washington”

Sugarland joined artists such as Mary J. Blige and Neil Diamond last night in Washington D.C. to perform for the “Christmas In Washington” concert. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama attened the concert and even joined the performers on stage for a sing-a-long of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” at the end of the show.

Sugarland performed an original holiday song, “Gold And Green” the title track of their new holiday album.

Jennifer Nettles, who was in the nation’s capital a week ago to sing at the Kennedy Center Honors, says that she’s no stranger to performing for President Obama (she also performed at his inauguration).

“I’m pretty sure at this point I can just come over and knock on his door with a casserole,” Nettles joked. (via USA Today)
