Sugarland To Stream Live Concert Online

On Monday (10/18) at 9 pm EST fans can log on to youtube.com/sugarlandvevo to watch Sugarland LIVE from New York’s Best Buy Theater. The concert is part of American Express’ Unstaged music series and comes the day before the duo releases The Incredible Machine, their brand new album.
“I’m a complete geek,” says Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, “and I’ve been dreaming of how awesome it’s going to be to play a show and stream it to people for a long time. Now, you can sit and reach a kid in Sevierville, Tenn., like I used to be, that might not ever get to New York. They’ll be able to see a show like that and have the excitement of it being live and happening right now.”
The live stream will also features interactive elements; fans can tweet in questions for Jennifer and Kristian before the show, vote for the encore song, and change camera angles during the show.
Kenny Ortega, who directed Disney’s High School Musical series and Michael Jackson’s This Is It, will direct the live stream.
