Tanya Tucker has been forced to postpone a few of her tour dates due to a sudden hospitalization for an upper respiratory infection.

The country icon came down with the illness while out on the road and came back to Nashville to see local doctors for treatment. While Tucker is doing fine, she will be taking a few days off to fully recover from the sickness and hospital time. In the meantime, Tucker sent out a loving message to all of the fans to express her condolences about having to postpone the handful of shows she is missing.

“I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets and were looking forward to seeing us on the road. I just feel terrible, but I’ll get even worse if I don’t take care of myself. I love you all,” said Tucker recently.

The six shows that have been postponed and will be scheduled for another date are: Watertown, South Dakota on October 7, Swift Current, SK, Canada on October 11, Whitecap, SK, Canada on October 12, Fort Hall, Idaho on October 14, Pendleton, Oregon on October 15 and Airway Heights, Washington on October 16. Dates for the rescheduled shows have not yet been announced.
