Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw took part in last night’s “Stand Up To Cancer” Telethon. The superstars joined A-listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Timberlake, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Michael Douglas, Jessica Biel, and Emma Stone on the one-hour fundraising special which aired on all major networks as well as across multiple cable channels.

Swift delivered a very emotional performance of “Ronan,” a song dedicated to a young boy named Ronan who lost his battle with neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer, last year. Taylor co-wrote the song with Maya Thompson, Ronan’s mother, after reading about their tragic story. Immediately after the “Stand Up To Cancer” broadcast, “Ronan” was available for purchase at iTunes. The song currently claims the top spot on the iTunes all-genre singles chart. It’s followed by Swift’s current single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which sits at No.2. Learn more about Ronan HERE.

McGraw closed the show with a memorable performance of his mega-hit “Live Like You Were Dying.” The iconic song was written after his father, Tug McGraw, lost his fight to cancer in 2004.
