Taylor Swift Donates Prom Dress

People Magazine is reporting that Taylor Swift donated her prom dress to Hearst Magazines’ Donatemydress.org. The website helps girls find the prom dress of their dreams.
Taylor was eager to help. “I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.”
The dress sold on the website’s first celebrity auction for $1,200!
