Taylor Swift Honored At Mohegan Sun
At a tour stop last week at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, Taylor Swift was honored with a star on their walk of fame. Taylor’s first performances at the Mohegan Sun Arena came in 2007 opening up for George Strait for two sold-out shows. She returned in 2008 for back-to-back sold-out shows as a special guest on Rascal Flatts’ “Bob That Head” tour. When she returned to the arena this year, it was to headline her own show, which sold-out in a record-breaking two minutes. Mohegan Sun, who earned Academy of Country Music awards in 2005 and 2008 for “Casino of the Year,” granted Taylor the honor before her show on Friday, August 28.
