Taylor Swift kicked off the European leg of her “Speak Now World Tour” in Brussels, Belgium last night, with fans starting to gather outside the Forest National Arena at 9:00 a.m. Taylor brought the crowd to their feet as the curtain dropped to the first notes of “Sparks Fly,” and the enthusiastic crowd remained on their feet throughout the 90-minute show. Taylor performed on two different stages, playing several different acoustic and electric guitars, and also the piano and the ukulele during the show. Tonight the tour moves to Holland's Ahoy Rotterdam Arena.

Taylor wrapped the Asian portion of her tour less than two weeks ago with a show at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld Expo Arena, and this year the Taylor Swift “Speak Now World Tour” will include 90 shows in 19 countries. Taylor's shows around the globe are selling out within minutes of tickets going on sale, including stadium shows in Boston, Philadelphia and Detroit. The US portion of the tour begins May 27th in Omaha.

Taylor’s new single, “Mean,” the third from her 3X-Platinum Speak Now album, released on Big Machine Records, ships to Country radio today.
