Taylor Swift is doing her part to help relief efforts in the wake of the deadly tornadoes that tore through Middle Tennessee Tuesday morning. According to The Tennessean, Swifthas donated a sum of $1 Million to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund. Swift posted the link to donate in an Instagram story to encourage her fans to help out as well.

“Nashville is my home,” she wrote. ”And the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me.”

Swift is one of many artists who are helping out after the storm. Chris Young donated $50,000 to the Music City Inc Foundation in the wake of the tornadoes, and Dierks Bentley and Jake Owen both posted videos of them helping out among the wreckage.

The EF-3 tornado that caused this destruction rolled into Nashville in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 3, and hit many neighborhoods and suburbs. An EF-4 tornado touched down in Putnam county as well, causing many fatalities. More than two dozen lives were lost as a result of the storm.
