Taylor Swift Outsells Them All In ’09
After weeks of speculation that Susan Boyle would beat out Taylor Swift as the top-selling artist of 2009, the final numbers have been tallied and the country superstar came out on top. Taylor’s Fearless album sold 3,216,000 copies, over 100,000 more than 2nd place Boyle. Taylor also beat out Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Black-Eyed Peas, and Jay-Z.
