Taylor Swift to Premiere ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ Music Video on Thursday

Superstar Taylor Swift will debut the highly anticipated music video for her latest single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” on MTV, CMT, and TeenNick on Thursday August 30 7:49 p.m. ET/PT.

The premiere will air during a special, entitled “MTV First: Taylor Swift.” Immediately following the premiere, MTV.com will feature a special 15 minute interview with Swift.

In addition, earlier that evening, Swift will join CMT hosts Katie Cook and Evan Farmer to discuss “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” during a 30-minute special that will air on CMT beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT. CMT will then air the video every hour during music hours throughout the upcoming holiday weekend.

The video will make its digital premiere on CMT.com, MTV.com, and VH1.com at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Swift once again teamed up with director Declan Whitebloom, who also directed her music videos for “Mean” and “Ours.” The “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” music video was reportedly shot with one camera in one continuous take and no edits.

As we previously reported, Swift will perform “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” live on the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is the lead single from her upcoming album, Red, due October 22.
