The 2015 CMA Album of the Year Is Chris Stapleton’s ‘Traveller’

What a big night for Chris Stapleton!

After being crowned CMA New Artist of the Year, the Kentucky native’s debut solo album, Traveller, took home the coveted title of CMA Album of the Year.

Traveller was produced by Dave Cobb and Stapleton, and was released on Mercury Nashville on May 5, 2015.

After its release, Traveller received much critical acclaim, and earned Stapleton spots on several late night television shows.

Also nominated in the Album of the Year category was Jason Aldean’s Old Boots New Dirt, Kacey MusgravesPageant Material, Little Big Town’s Pain Killer, and Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival.
