Just weeks after parting ways with Big Machine Label Group, The Band Perry was picked up by Universal Music Group and Interscope Records for a unique joint record deal, one that would allow them to release music to both pop and country radio.

While their planned record Heart + Beat has been shelved for the time being, the sibling trio is excited to be working on new music and getting it out to fans as soon as possible.

“We’ve gone through an amazing transition and we’re so proud to be at a label home with such caring people who just believe in our music and we’re so excited to get a new song on country radio. It’s right around the corner,” Kimberly Perry told Sounds Like Nashville exclusively.

Since going through this new transition, TBP’s fans have stayed steady, a fact that the trio couldn’t appreciate more.

“We tell our fans all the time that they’re so much more to us than that, than just fans, more than friends. We do feel like they’re an extended part of our family and you know, we feel like we’re writing songs that they make their soundtracks, while they’re out there making their big dreams come true,” Kimberly added. “So for them to support us and be with us during this time of growth and transition has just been life changing and they’ve been our anchors so we were excited to come to CMA Fest and see them all and say thank you so much and all of this is about to be better than it’s ever been. So we’re really excited.”
