The Band Perry Hits No. 1 With “If I Die Young”

The Band Perry has a new reason to be thankful as their powerful single “If I Die Young” hits #1 on the Country radio charts, according to both Billboard Magazine and Country Aircheck/USA Today powered by Mediabase. The #1 is a career-first for The Band Perry and a label-first for Republic Nashville (Big Machine Label Group), which launched in July 2009 and literally hit the ground running to introduce the trio of siblings to Country Radio.

The Band Perry always says, “it takes a village to break a band,” when referring to the love and support they’ve received from fans, radio and the artist community this year.

Thanking supporters, Kimberly Perry said today, “There is nothing more important to us than family and over the past year our family has grown to include everyone who has encouraged us along the way. We love to play Country music – to be given the chance to share it with others has been a dream come true that we are so grateful for.”

In December, The Band Perry will perform at the “Amercian Country Awards” on FOX (12/6) where they are nominated for three awards and on ABC’s “The View” (12/15).
