The Band Perry performs their new single “Better Dig Two” on the 46th Annual CMA Awards
The Band Perry has already laid a strong foundation for their new single, “Better Dig Two,” among fans and critics alike. Immediately following their knockout performance at last Thursday’s (11/1) CMA Awards, the edgy tune began trending nationwide on Twitter’s Top 10. “Better Dig Two” quickly catapulted into the iTunes Country Singles Chart Top 10 before nailing the No.1 spot and locking in the No.3 position on the Overall Top Singles Chart with sales soaring to over 82,000 copies sold in the first week.

Preceding the awards, TBP delivered the single to Country radio and met with several stations on location in Nashville. Kimberly, Reid and Neil spoke to on-air personalities about “Better Dig Two,” calling it “the ultimate love song … the kind of love not even death can separate.”
TBP will soon release the “Better Dig Two” video, which they shot just outside of Nashville on Friday with director Declan Whitebloom. They rounded out the weekend back in front of the camera, taping the “CMA Country Christmas” special, which will air on ABC on December 20 and 22.
The Perry’s will head to Europe this week for shows in Sweden, Norway, Ireland and the UK. The band has three nominations at next month’s American Country Awards, including Artist of the Year: Group and in early 2013, they will hit the road with Rascal Flatts’ “Changed Tour.”
