We’re sending our heartfelt congratulations to THE FARM’s Nick Hoffman and singer/songwriter Natalie Murphy. The couple tied the knot on Saturday, May 14 in Edwards, CO. Hoffman and Murphy made their way to the Cordillera Lodge with a total of 50 guests, including singer Maggie Rose and THE FARM’s Damien Horne.

“Both of us feel that the West is very spiritual in some ways and we wanted to do a little destination wedding. We headed up to the mountains and did it there,” Murphy told Sounds Like Nashville exclusively. “We had our reception at a little Irish pub that they had there. It was awesome. We just did traditional pub food. Everybody sang karaoke. It was really fun.”

The couple’s day was filled with special touches, including a childhood friend working as dress designer.

“One of my best friends from New York City designed my dress. We’ve been friends since we were 12 and she has a really amazing line of furniture. Her name is Taylor Forrest,” she explained. “That was definitely one of the feature things for me. It was really special to me that she made my dress. I loved watching it come along.”

Horrman’s bandmate Horne also served as officiant over the ceremony.

“It was so much fun. He’s such a cool guy because he was a minister and he had some really great words of wisdom when he officiated. He actually compared a marriage to the perfect song,” said Murphy. “He’s like ‘make sure to find the things that work, find your sweet spot, and then stick to that. And don’t deviate.’ So that was kind of fun. And then he definitely got up and sang and danced at the reception.”

As for the day, Murphy couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything went and to finally be married.

“I’m just so thankful that I found such a compatible partner. We have so much in common. I feel like we can chase our dreams together. And the day just went as smoothly as I ever hoped it would. I’m very happy and very relieved.”

The couple will be celebrating wedded bliss while also hard at work. Hoffman will soon host his own show on the Outdoor Channel, Nick’s Wild Ride. The show, which debuts in July, takes the fiddle player and avid hunter around the world to hunt and explore the local culture surrounding those special spots. Murphy is currently working on her own solo project after spending several years on the road with Maggie Rose playing fiddle. She most recently had a songwriting cut on Cam’s Untamed album with the song “Village.”
