The Flatts & Simpson Hit The Road

Rascal Flatts kicked off the 2009 leg of the Bob That Head Tour on Saturday night in Kansas City with Miss Jessica Simpson.

I was looking for a review this morning, but couldn’t find one. The gals over at CMTT beat me to it….

The reviewer had a few nice things…and a few not so nice things to say about the show.

He compared the Flatts to Boys II Men and Backstreet Boys…OUCH. Not something a country act really wants to hear, right?

But he also gave the guys props for their “big show,” so he didn’t dislike what he saw all that much.

As for Jessica Simpson, well, she didn’t get any rave reviews.

The reviewer said, “She opened the show with a set that included “Remember That,” the single off the country album she released last year. She has a big voice that carried itself across the arena, but her 40-minute set was pleasant at best. An act like hers seems better suited for smaller rooms.”
