The Henningsens Premiere ‘American Beautiful’ Music Video

New Arista Nashville trio The Henningsens debuted their first music video for “American Beautiful” earlier this week. Directed by Darrin Dickerson and produced by David B. Stevens for Ghostwater Films, their debut clip features the musical family in true-to-life scenarios.

Aaron Henningsen explains, “A lot of our friends and family actually are in the video. All of the imagery in the video reflects our life growing up.”

Clara Henningsen, lead singer for the family group, continues, “We played in barns growing up – actually, played music in barns. Mom and Dad used to make a concert hall, I guess you could call it, out of my aunt and uncle’s barn. Folks from our home area in Central Illinois would come into the hayloft and we’d play concerts.” She adds, “In our video, we have a similar setting – but, it’s a barn in Tennessee not Illinois.”

Adding a further personal touch to the video, Brian Henningsen, father of Aaron and Clara, constructed one of the video’s key props.

“Our director, Darrin Dickerson, came up the idea of the opening scene featuring an adorable little girl playing with a miniature barn,” Brian recalls. “I told Darrin that I used to build real homes. I also built a small-scale barn and other things for the kids when they were little. Let me build one for the video!”

After only 10 weeks since its initial impact at country radio, “American Beautiful” is already No.23 on Billboard and No.24 on Country Aircheck charts. Co-written by Clara, Aaron, and Brian Henningsen and Brett Beavers, their single is the title track from their forthcoming debut album to be released this summer. The single is available HERE on iTunes or at any digital retailer.

Upon its release, “American Beautiful” broke numerous records when it received 77 combined Country Aircheck and Billboard radio adds. Their add total gave them the most first-week adds of any debut single in Country Aircheck history while also giving the trio the highest impact-week add total for a group since 1999. The stunning single also received the most out-of-the-box adds in recent Mediabase history and ties Gretchen Wilson’s 2004 Sony debut “Redneck Woman.”
