The Swon Brothers Are Psyched To Open For ‘Legend’ Brad Paisley

The Swon Brothers

Ever since their time on “The Voice” came to an end, The Swon Brothers have been slowly realizing their dream of playing country music for a living. The brothers, Zach and Colton, have seen the release of their debut album, which just so happens feature country superstar Carrie Underwood, earned a CMA nod, among other accomplishments.

Now they can add something else to that list: opening for Brad Paisley.

“The man is already a legend,” Colton says of the Paisley. “He’s one of the most talented singers and guitar players on this earth, and we got a lot to learn – and what a great guy to learn from.”

For Zach, however, it’s not just a a chance to learn from a living legend, but someone he’s admired for a long time.

“I can’t tell you what this means to me,” Zach confesses. “I’ve always considered myself to be a musician before I am a singer, and I’ve grown up covering Brad Paisley songs and trying my best to fake a little bit of what he does on the guitar.”

In fact, one night while the brothers were playing a show near their hometown on Zach’s 18th birthday their dad brought out a Paisley Telecaster for him right before they played “I’m Gonna Miss Her.”

“Just ’cause he knew I wanted to be like Brad so much,” Zach recalls. “And it meant a lot.”

The guitar is now hanging up on a wall at home, but Zach’s hoping he can get bring it out on tour to get an autograph.
