‘The Voice’ Coaches Head Into Live Shows with Final Five Team Members

Team Blake - The Voice- 2013

Hopefuls on “The Voice” let it all out in the ring this week as the coaches cut their teams in half to reveal their final five picks.

For the first time, each coach got a chance to steal during the battle rounds. Blake Shelton and CeeLo Green both snatched up contestants Monday night, while Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine saved their steals only to call back artists that were once on their team.

XTina was the first to recall a hopeful. She used her steal on Stephanie Anne Johnson after CeeLo axed her for Tamara Chauniece.

Artist Will Champlin’s performance of “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars didn’t compare to Matthew Schuler’s take on “Cosmic Love” by Florence and the Machine. That didn’t stop Adam from stealing back Champlin.

Blake seems to be working his magic, building yet another winning team. Ray Boudreaux gave an amazing performance of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handel.”

Pair Boudreaux with Zac Brown Band-like singer Austin Jenckes, and Team Blake could very well bring home a fourth title.

Of course, we can’t forget potential country starlet Shelbie Z, Cole Vosbury, and Nic Hawk, who also made it to Blake’s lucky top five.

Teams now move onto the live rounds, with five hopefuls each and with no shortage of talent. “The Voice” returns Monday (11/4) at 8/7c on NBC.
