‘The Voice’ Recap: Emily Ann Roberts Knocks Out The Competition

Things got heated on last night’s episode of The Voice, where round three of the knockout rounds took place.

Coach Blake Shelton’s final knockout was between Emily Ann Roberts and Nadjah Nicole. Roberts, who is is one of the youngest artists on Team Blake, stuck with her country roots and performed Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away.”

Against her was Nadjah Nicole, who is the only R&B performer on Shelton’s team. Nadjah sang Alicia Keys’ “A Woman’s Worth,” and she definitely gave one of her best vocal performances yet.

Even with Nadjah’s stellar vocal chops, Blake stuck to his country roots and decided to keep Emily Ann because he felt that he will hear her on the radio one day.

Emily Ann will compete on the upcoming live shows along with Ivonne Acero, Barrett Baber, Zach Seabaugh and Morgan Frazier.
