The Voice Recap: Team Blake’s Zach Bridges and Cory Jackson Battle With Toby Keith Song

The fourth night of Battle Rounds on season 17 of The Voice are in the can, leaving just one more night of Battles before the remaining contestants and coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani move into the always exciting Knockout.

The night kicked off with Team Gwen’s James Violet, who competed against Kyndal Inskeep the night before, announcing his team decision after both Gwen and John hit their buttons to steal or save him. And the lucky coach is John Legend. “I don’t have anybody like James on my team,” John said. “He has a really cool tone. He’s a revelation.”

Here’s how the fourth night shook out:

SAVE: Gwen – “Jessie, I just think you deserve to be here. You work really hard, but it’s not just about your voice, it’s you and I can’t wait to share you with America.”
