Just a couple of years ago this week in 2019, the movie Toy Story 4 opened in theaters with Chris Stapleton performing “The Ballad Of The Lonesome Cowboy.” A few years earlier Chris talked about his enormous success.

Eight years ago in 2013, Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” earned a quadruple-platinum single from the RIAA. During that time, Tyler Hubbard shared with us just who Brian Kelley and himself were musically.

This week back in 1993, Brooks & Dunn earned a triple-platinum award from the RIAA for “Brand New Man,” becoming the first duo in country music history to have an album ship 3 million units. Kix Brooks shared his and his partner’s secret to success.

And 37 years ago this week in 1984, George Strait recorded “The Cowboy Rides Away” in a late-night session at the Sound Stage in Nashville. George told us about winning his first award just a few years later.
