Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi professed that there’s nothing that a “Beer Can’t Fix” with their performance at the 2020 ACM Awards.

The hit makers teamed up at the Ryman Auditorium during the social-distance-friendly awards show, bringing a summery vibe to the set with images of a scenic lake broadcasted on the makeshift stained glass windows behind them. The twosome sounded solid together, raising a glass to the libation that they claim in the lyrics can fix a broken heart and offer a shot of confidence.

Ain’t nothing that a beer can’t fix/Ain’t no pain it can’t wash away/From the moment that it hits your lips/Makes those clouds look a little less gray,” they sang in harmony, accented by some synchronized two-stepping.

“Beer Can’t Fix” was released in January 2020 as the third single off Rhett’s album Center Point Road. The song reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart in May 2020, making for Rhett’s ninth consecutive No. 1 single and 15th overall, while it became Pardi’s fourth hit song.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Keith Urban, are live from Nashville tonight (9/16) on CBS at 8/7c.
