Not even a worldwide pandemic could stop the spread of Christmas spirit by a few of country music’s biggest stars.
Tyler and Hayley Hubbard, Russell and Kailey Dickerson, Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins and Ali Ryan all donned their festive apparel to channel their holiday supergroup known as the Country Carolers for a Friday night out on the town. The group made sure they were safe before singing, taking COVID-19 precautions ahead of their cheery outing.
“Last night, The Country Carolers spread some holiday cheer in 2020!! Thankful for time with our people pre-testing to keep us safe,” Kailey captioned her jolly Instagram post of the pals.
The Carolers made a list and checked it twice before visiting some of their famous friends around Nashville. Some of the special visits along the way included a stop by Kelsea Ballerini’s new house and a detour to Charles Kelley’s home. The Lady A singer made some hilarious commentary on the group during their quirky rendition of the classic, “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas.”
“It’s amazing those outfits still fit y’all,” Kelley said jokingly in the clip shared on Cassie Kelley’s Instagram. “I would’ve had to grow out of mine.”
The unconventional group date has become quite the December tradition as they gather together for good tidings. Throughout all the albums, tours, weddings and babies, the friendship remains steadfast between Dickerson, Hubbard, Rhett and their wives time and time again.
It’s been a big week for each of the guys with Dickerson releasing a new album, Hubbard announcing Florida Georgia Line’s fifth studio album on the way and Rhett co-hosting the CMA Country Christmas special with his wife.
