Thomas Rhett Shows Won’t Be Fun, Says Daughter Willa

Thomas Rhett has earned his place among the greats in country music as he continues his meteoric rise to super-stardom. That doesn’t mean his daughter can’t hilariously put him back into his place among the mortals, though. Enter two-year-old Willa Gray…

In a video posted to his Instagram, Rhett is snuggled up with his eldest daughter and has her repeat what he says. Encouraging her to tell his fans in Tulsa, Lubbock and Las Cruces to come out to his upcoming shows because they’re fun, Willa goes off script saying, no, the shows won’t be any fun at all.

“Oh, it’s not going to be fun, don’t come,” says a disappointed Rhett as (presumably) his wife Lauren laughs hysterically in the background.

Willa has grown into quote the character, with her proud parents showing off her bubbly personality time and time again. The little girl, adopted from Uganda, appears quote frequently among their social media accounts, even with them praising just how smart she is.

“Willa Gray is 2 and just wrote a “W” on her own.. is that normal,” Rhett captioned a video of his daughter writing her first letters.

The couple welcomed Willa into their home in May 2017, but into their hearts much earlier than that. The couple became acquainted with the little girl during their frequent trips to Africa in support of the organization, 147 Million Orphans. They also recently welcomed their second daughter, Ada, biologically in August 2017.
