In honor of its half a century on television, Sesame Street is going all out and inviting a slew of stars over to celebrate this major milestone. Joining in on the fun is country star Thomas Rhett, who visited the show back in December with his family.

The visit was much more than just a meet and greet with the colorful cast as Rhett also filmed an adorable music video for his song “This Is My Street,” which has been named the anthem for Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary Season.

In the sweet slip, Rhett is seen greeting many of Sesame Street’s most famous faces, from Big Bird to Cookie Monster, and even the Count.

“I wanna go where kindness is the way / learn new things each and every day / see that old gang, and never go away / ‘cause this is my street, Sesame Street,” he croons in the singalong with the muppets that call the famous block home.

Rhett, along with his wife Lauren and daughters Willa and Ada, visited the street that makes learning fun. The couple chronicled their adventures with photos and videos posted to Instagram of their children meeting the loveable characters.

“Yesterday was one for the books! My family and I had a blast getting to be a part of Sesame Street! Can’t wait for y’all to see this,” wrote Rhett, with Lauren adding, “Talk about a childhood dream come true! We got to go to Sesame Street!!”

Fans can catch the 50th anniversary celebration of Sesame Street all year along.
