Country duo Thompson Square may be parents to a little one now, but that’s not stopping them from their music career.
In an exclusive video with Sounds Like Nashville, the new mom-and-dad talked about how their lives have changed since having baby boy Cooper and their new-found inspiration thanks to their little guy.
Their latest single, “You Make It Look So Good,” is the first single off their upcoming project and Thompson Square gushed about how their son actually inspired them to take this next step in their music game.
“We actually didn’t write this song, but it was just the perfect song for us at a perfect time in our life with him and each other,” said Kiefer Thompson. “It just sums up Thompson Square to a tee.”
Not only does their single mark a new chapter in the duo’s singing career, but Cooper also marks a brand new chapter for them in their everyday lives. Lucky for them, they get to bring their son on tour with them to take care of him every step of the way.
“I mean he’s just made our lives so much more well-rounded and I can’t believe we’re parents. It’s just amazing,” said Keifer. “But it was the best thing we ever did. He’s a lot of fun, but we are excited to be back on the road.”
