Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Added to ‘Hand in Hand’ Telethon Lineup

The country couple has joined the star-studded lineup to raise money for victims of the recent hurricanes.

Some of the biggest entertainers from all ends of the spectrum are joining forces to bring relief to hurricane victims with the upcoming ‘Hand in Hand’ telethon. Joining the long list of previously announced celebrities set to take part, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been added to the star-studded lineup.

Other stars that have just been announced to appear include Connie Britton, Nicole Kidman and Gwen Stefani. Broadcasting from New York, Los Angeles and Nashville, the telethon will also feature Beyoncé, Oprah, Barbra Streisand, George Clooney and Matthew McConaughey. Blake Shelton and Reese Witherspoon are set to host the Nashville portion of the benefit, which will air live from the Grand Ole Opry.

Texas native George Strait is also broadcasting a segment live from his San Antonio benefit concert, which will feature performances from Miranda LambertChris Stapleton, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.

The show, originally dedicated to Hurricane Harvey relief, has been expanded to include those affected by Hurricane Irma.

Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief will air on all major broadcast networks as well as select cable channels and social media outlets on September 12 at 8 p.m. EST. A re-airing of the program will go on at 8 p.m. PST for West Coast viewers. Phone lines, text messaging and digital donating will all be open throughout the show and an hour after its premiere.
