Tim McGraw Announces New Album, ‘Damn Country Music’

Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw is making a bold statement with the title of his new album, Damn Country Music.

The superstar has been teasing the album for several weeks through cryptic messages on social media and finally confirmed the new release with USA Today today.

To McGraw, the album’s title track is reflective of the entire record’s tone and his musical journey thus far. “When I recorded ‘Damn Country Music,’ it was one of those electric moments. It speaks to a passion and being at a crossroads in your life when you make that decision to pursue it knowing you might pay a heavy price,” says the singer.

McGraw has been busy this summer – on top of working on Damn Country Music, he’s also been on his Shotgun Rider Tour and releasing his latest single, “Top Of The World.” He’s also in the process of filming for his role in the upcoming movie, “The Shack,” which marks his 10th film.

Damn Country Music will hit shelves November 6.
