Tim McGraw Gives Lady Antebellum The Shirts Off His Back
Following a tour tradition, Tim McGraw recenlty gifted Lady Antebellum members Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood with two of his shirts. Charles explains “He has a tradition of giving a shirt to his opening act. I thought he was kidding at first, but his wardrobe person said that it’s just something he does. One day, he came out and brought Dave [Haywood] and me each a shirt of his. I wonder how that started. I wonder if it was a new artist and he was like, ‘You have bad style. Here’s one of my shirts.'”
While Charles may have accepted the shirt, one tour tradition that he won’t partake in is playing basketball. Even though he stands over 6’5′, Charles has no interest in joining the fun. “He made fun of me for not ever wanting to play basketball with him,” Kelley says. “He busted me pretty hard about it.”
