Tim McGraw’s ‘Here On Earth’ Debuts High In the Clouds

Tim McGraw’s latest album may be titled Here On Earth, but it made its debut as high in the clouds as it gets. The set arrives at Number One on the Billboard Country album chart this week.

Marking the country icon’s 17th chart topper, the success confirms McGraw’s still got a few miles left in him. It’s his first album release since returning to Big Machine Records earlier this year and a resounding win for the whole team — even tying McGraw for second on the all-time Number One album list behind George Strait. The set features his current single, “I Called Mama,” and McGraw helped bring fans onboard by performing a home-bound virtual concert at his Nashville mansion featuring Brad Paisley.

But his latest Number One isn’t McGraw’s only good news this week. The superstar also earned triple-Platinum certifications for both “Humble & Kind” and “Highway Don’t Care,” pushing his career total to 75 million certified sales. It’d be pretty hard to stay “grounded” after that …
